Synopsis

John and Susan Sterling take a much needed break from world class modeling and photography to sail their custom built 90 foot sailing yacht to Tahiti. After years of hard work and planning for the cruise they arrive in the Marquesas Islands of French Polynesia. After only a few idealic days in a remote cove on Nuka Hiva Island, they are attacked by a man and woman with a machine pistol from another boat. Wounded and bleeding they hide under their skiff which is riddled with bullet holes, while the pirates make off with the Sterling's 90 foot yacht. Stranded and penniless in a foreign country John and Susan set out on a valiant but naive and dangerous attempt to recover their stolen yacht.

À propos de l'auteur

Patrick lives with his wife Dana in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. Since returning in 1981 from their last cruise to Tahiti on their 68 foot sailing yacht, they chartered as Captain and chef on their sailing yacht till 1997. After selling the 68 footer, they purchased a 65 foot motor yacht and continue to charter to this day.
