Yulia Stakhnevich, PhD, was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. She received her doctorate from The University of Mississippi and teaches linguistics and pedagogy courses in the TESOL Department at the School of Education and Health Studies at Bridgewater State University at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
