Jerry Andrews has been on Wall Street since 1973. Prior to joining a major New York broker/dealer, he was a business owner, and served on the boards of directors of companies in the United States, England, and Germany. He also dealt in foreign exchange, primarily in New York, but also in England and Germany, serving clients in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America. Originally from Staten Island, New York, where he graduated from Monsignor Farrell High School, Jerry also studied at the Universidad Autónoma de México in Mexico City and earned his BA in Latin American Studies from Rutgers College. He speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese. He and his family reside in South Orange, New Jersey, where he is active in the community and a member of the Rutgers College Alumni Association, the Finnish American Chamber of Commerce, and the Scandinavian American Foundation. Formerly on the University of Delaware Parents Board, he is also a member of Toastmasters International and available for public speaking engagements. He teaches continuing education to Certified Public Accountants, and runs an active internship program with students from domestic and international universities. A portfolio manager, Jerry focuses on the financial and investment needs of individuals, not-for-profits, and public and private companies. His Andrews Performance Enhanced Portfolio Strategy (A.P.E.P.S.(r)) helps clients to identify their goals; he then develops custom-tailored solutions with a management approach that, dealing with both assets and liabilities, strives to achieve those goals. He manages clients' money and assumes responsibility as the harbormaster who stands watch over the ship maintains a safe harbor.
