Publishing a book seemed the perfect way for Mit to utilize his talents and abilities in enjoying laughter and wisdom with others. Mit Sorrels is a retired dentist and a Professor Emeritus at an esteemed university. His humorous nature and love of philosophical wit lead him to speaking engagements. as many as seventy five in one year. Mit is recognized as an accomplished humorist and has enjoyed fifty years of popularity as a Master of Ceremonies, roaster and lecturer. His speaking presentations also included professional groups on serious subjects nevertheless he always interjected humor, philosophy and wit to get his point across and make it enjoyable to the audience. Mit maintained that laughter is healing. Mit also volunteered his services to many groups: elderly, church, fraternal etc. His exchange was how people responded to him.
