Catherine Witten Boyd was raised in the Australian countryside where she spent many hours chasing butterflies and floating in the channel staring at the clouds. After graduating from university with Honours in Psychology, Catherine moved to Sydney to work with the Psych. team at the Institute of Sport at Homebush Bay. It wasn't long, however, before she left this career and her life in Australia for Asia, to satisfy a deep seeded sense of wanderlust.During her years as a nomad, Catherine met her husband and moved with him to the USA. Here, she studied Early Childhood Education and became a preschool teacher. Inspired by her pupils, Catherine combined two long time passions of art and words by writing and illustrating children's books.Catherine currently lives in South Korea with her husband and her 'little bit of everything' dog, Henry. She teaches art and craft to preschoolers, and has a weekly story time session. When she's not in the classroom or her studio, Catherine can be found walking along the river with Henry, exploring Korea with her husband, or daydreaming about her next adventure.
