Betty Perkins Baccus has filled her life with activity from start to the present. She says that her most fulfilling career has been to raise her family of three sons and six daughters. But she has added multifaceted layers of activity besides. Betty has taught high school Sunday school classes, led Women's Ministries in her church, been an officer in Republican Women, and been an officer in the county Youth for Christ organization. A second career opened up for her after she was named North Dakota's Mother of the Year in 1989. Now she was in huge demand as a speaker on marriage and parenting issues. Today her speaking engagements range from Fargo, ND to EI Paso, TX and from Minneapolis to Seattle. Her topics include motivational, spiritual and humor. She is known as North Dakota's Erma Bombeck.
