Heather Long is the author of Max & Milo Go to Sleep and Max & Milo The Mixed-up Message. She earned a degree in Fashion Design from Florida State University and has worked as a fashion designer, a wardrobe stylist, and has even owned her own boutique. She currently lives in Florida with her husband, author and illustrator Ethan Long; her stepdaughter; and two sons.

Ethan Long is the acclaimed author and illustrator of many books for children, among them the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award winner Up, Tall, and High. He is also the creator of the animated, Emmy Award–nominated interactive series Scribbles and Ink at PBSKids.org, which is also a digital book series on Epic.
