Dr. Zimring is the Medical Director of the Center for Wilderness and Travel Medicine at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland; the www.travelmedicineMD.com provides pre- and post-travel consultations as well as immunizations in preparation for international travel. He also serves as a Regional Medical Advisor to Medex Assistance www.medexassist.com, a company that coordinates medical care for international travelers and arranges emergency medical evacuations. An adventure traveler, avid horseman, and naturalist, Dr. Zimring lives in Ellicott City, Maryland with his wife Penny and their two cats, Claws and Rocky.
