The Second Edition of Organisations and Management in Social Work examines the complex organizational settings in which social workers practice and identifies opportunities for taking action for positive change. A robust critique of organizational practices is encouraged throughout the book with an emphasis on active participation in the everyday life of organizations to achieve social work's goals. The new edition has been fully updated to reflect the contemporary practice environment, with particular reference to leadership, and inter-agency and inter-disciplinary working.
