Sally Grindley is the award-winning author of over a dozen picture books including Shhh! (Andersen) and winner of the UK's Children’s Book Award, I Don’t Want To (Little Brown). She also writes novels for older children – including Smarties Prize Winner Spilled Water. Sally is also an experienced compiler and has put together several story anthologies for Kingfisher, including Stories for the Very Young. Sally lives in Cheltenham, Gloucester.

Erica Jane Waters graduated with a H.N.D in illustration from Hereford College in 1996. She now works full time as an illustrator and author for children's books and has illustrated such titles as Molly's Jolly Brolly, Mr Pepper's Perfect Pet Shop and The Perfect Monster which was nominated for the Nottingham Children's Awards in 2006.
