Synopsis

On the surface, there isn't much in life that Madison Branson doesn't have: successful career, great friends, a supportive family and all of the material comforts that would keep most women happy. Yet, on the verge of her thirty-fifth birthday, Maddie begins to look more carefully and closely at her life and the spaces that she keeps covered up and hidden: her job isn't that fulfilling, her friends all have families of their own, her family is dysfunctional and at the end of the day, she goes home to an empty house. Perhaps her life isn't so perfect after all, but if poised, polished and professional is what everyone expects of her, can she really afford to be anyone other than the Maddie that everyone else knows and loves?

Biographie de l'auteur

Tyra L. Seldon is an educator, freelance writer and university administrator. She was first introduced to creative writing as a young girl in Detroit, Michigan. Her work often explores the topics of spirituality, personal relationships and identity. Empty Spaces is her first novel.
