Ian O'Neill was born in the Luton and Dunstable hospital in 1954. He was brought up and educated in Dunstable, and spent most of his working life in the electronics industry. He currently lives in a small Buckinghamshire village with his wife, Carole, and two golden retrievers. His favourite pastimes include reading, listening to music (all types), and walking his dogs. He has been writing children's fiction for just over four years. The Time Traveller's Assistant is his first story to be published.
