This book reflects the quiet moments as an elderly woman in retirement looks back upon her life as she grows up in a very natural and self sustaining family farm in Illinois during the early fourties. Rememberances are of childhood life there . Contemplations are put forth in rhyme of what the future brought and may bring. It will also reflects her vision of what her numerous years of living in Ketchikan, Alaska brought to her and sorts out the reasons for retiring to her birth state of Illinois. She puts forth her observations of her life in Illinois during retirement and shows her love of the nature around her. Messages are put forth relating to her wishes for her adult children with reflections of her feelings during their childhood.

Peggy Ayers was born at home in 1939 on a farm in Illinois. Her family left the farm and moved to Bingham Illinois on January 24, 1949. She attended Ramsey Community High School in Ramsey, Illinois. She moved to Ketchikan, Alaska in October 1966 to work in the hospital laboratory. Peggy worked for a cumulative 35 years as a medical technologist, but did leave the profession for seven years where she was a licensed life and health insurance agent in Ketchikan. She retired in 2006 and returned to her home state of Illinois.
