Synopsis

Imagine you are twenty-eight years old, you are happily married, and you have finally gotten your life in order. Then comes the news-you have cancer. How can this be? As you fight the disease, you look back over your whole life. You think about your faith, your loved ones, and about how you can use this experience to help others. Ruth's story expresses the thoughts of a young woman with wisdom beyond her years, her deep faith, her love of others, and how she affected those around her as she struggled with her disease. Included are Scriptures and prayers that aided her in her journey and her realization that her ultimate healing came not from defeating cancer but from leaving her failing body behind to find healing in the arms of her heavenly Father. The Story of Ruth illustrates the faith and courage of one family's battle with cancer and their ultimate understanding of God's healing and God's promise.
