Jim Meade, Jr. ceased to exist on May 8, 1967 and James Meade, Jr. was born 10 weeks later. The helicopter crashed and destroyed the memory of the first 19 years of his life. The doctors expected him to die but he lived to help millions of people around the United States and the world.
