Biographie de l'auteur

In 1954 Faye Callahan fulfilled her desire to become a schoolteacher and came to a little town in Georgia called Hoboken. Even as a little girl she would line up her dolls and the little kids in the neighborhood and "teach" school. She attended Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia, and received a bachelor of arts in education and a master's in education from Georgia Southern College, Statesboro, Georgia. She has always felt that the Lord had placed a calling upon her to teach, and her greatest joy is to teach the word of God. She has been a Sunday-school teacher for sixty-two years, teaching every age group, from nursery to adult classes. She now teaches an adult class at Kettle Creek Church in Waycross, Georgia. She tells everyone her next promotion will be to heaven. Her greatest joy is to study the word of God and to present it so that it will be understood and that others will find strength and courage to live for the Lord. As she studied, she would write down her thoughts and findings. Many times later she would be called upon to speak and would draw from these writings. The purpose of this book is to encourage others with their life's experiences and to know the promises of the Bible are for each child of God. It is her desire that someone will find the courage to go on when life is at its lowest and that God's word holds all the answers we need to life's problems.
