About the Author Recording artist Jon Pare (born Johnny Perez) on August 12 1971 began his musical journey at a very young age but never got an opportunity until he reached high school and it came not as a singer but as a writer. Jon would hone his craft of writing pop songs by writing songs for artists that were actually on the radio at the time and that opened the flood gates for a world that would take just about everything from him. Growing up in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx New York then moving to the Castle Hill section once he was older Jon was always exposed to music through his family mainly his uncles that had a Beatles tribute band when he was just a child. Life was very rough for Jon in his teenage years due to the lack of communication that Jon had with his father at the time even spending many nights sleeping on the 4 train but one thing remained for Jon and that was his musical aspirations and the undying feeling throughout his life that he was always meant for something big and in the winter of 2007 Jon received the opportunity that he had always waited for. It was his uncle Ray that had advised Jon to write about his story so that it may help all the people that were probably right now with their children in their basements rehearsing and spending all sorts of money for their children with Britney Spears dreams and what they should look out for in the savage music industry so Jon took his advice and the rest is history.
