She was raised by her grandmother while her mother came to Chicago to start a life for herself and Rita. After dealing with physical, emotional , and sexual abuse, Rita began to know the Lord herself. She learned how to deal with the hurt from family and friends and sexual abuse. It was not an easy road, but she made it. Rita allowed God to us her in dance; she danced with Maranatha as a praise dancer, then began to teach the young adults praise dancing. She went out in the street with feet on the street ministry to win the lost souls back to God. She was born in Chicago Heights and has two children.
