Biographie de l'auteur

Bendu Kromah-Jaja has work as a fi eld auditor for the California State Compensation Insurance Fund, the largest workers' compensation carrier operating in the state of California, for the past twenty-one years. She has audited some of the most complex accounts which include but not limited to corporations, nonprofi t entities, partnerships, trust accounts, temporary help agencies, and professional employees organizations. Ms. Jaja's work as an auditor with the California State Compensation Insurance Fund has been referenced in the Sacramento Bee. The outcome of an audit done by Ms Jaja over a three year period was referenced in the Workers' Comp Executive, and the California Department of Insurance Publication, etc. Ms. Jaja has trained auditors in the areas of workers compensation auditing as well as the used of audit software referred to as Auditwin. Throughout her years of employment at the California Workers Compensation Insurance Fund, she worked with various departments including legal, loss control, underwriter, claims, insurances services, risk managements, etc. In recognition of her extensive contribution in this fi eld, Bendu received numerous accolades including the award for corporate excellence and several auditor of the month awards from the California State Compensation Insurance Fund. Bendu earned her bachelor's of science degree in economics from the University of Liberia with a minor in mathematics. She obtained her master's of business administration from Morgan State University.
