Then he spent the rest of the war in the top secret Special Operations Executive, first in France and later in the Far East. And he was not allowed to write anything about it for fifty years.

About the author

After the war, Patrick sailed the tiny Sopranino across the Atlantic Ocean (as described in his book Sopranino) then he married June and they spent 10 years delivering yachts (as described in their book Wind Song) and since then he has written 6 other books and about 100 articles in nationwide magazines, as well as building a restaurant at a ski area in Vermont and starting six small businesses.
