The author's childhood and faith in God were crushed when his father committed suicide. As an adult, the author began his research of the Holy Bible to understand suffering in life and fill the void in his soul. The author has worked in manufacturing engineering management for over thirty years, and has written numerous technical guides and manuals regarding product design and manufacturing. The writer is gifted in researching and deciphering vast amounts of complex data and organizing the information for efficient acquisition, retention, and retrieval. The author has taught Bible application classes for grade school children, high school students, and adults. What began as Carl’s personal longing to research, analyze, and understand God’s Word, became a thirty year endeavor that resulted in the writing of Jesus is Our Friend.
