Synopsis

Betrayal is a controversial romance crime thriller novel that involves the heist of the century. The Vatican has been in receipt of heretical works, art, and treasure for over two thousand years. To maintain the collections the Pope entrusts only a select few. One of the men chosen with the task of maintaining the Vatican's most sensitive treasures, Cardinal D'Anglese, finds himself carrying a dark secret of his own which has lead to the murder of a young boy and a widening cast of unscrupulous characters who are blackmailing him. D'Anglese starts stealing from the Vatican's vaults and unloading them onto the black market to gain hush money. What will happen when works taken by the inquisition surface on the black market? What will the new Pope do if the true origins of Jesus and the church's knowledge of it reach the public eye after one thousand years of suppression? How will the Vatican recover their art and treasure and thieves scatter it across the world in hungry private collections? Find out in Betrayal.
