Synopsis

Kendor was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Twice cursed and pursued by a powerful magician, his search for a means to free himself from his curses and free the slave girl who laid one bane upon him, leads him into Falook's city. Internal strife, impending invasion and enemies made whilst acting as policeman and executioner in the services of a mad king are causes for concern. His time is not his own what with running an apothecary while training a courtesan and recruiting an army. To add to his problems he must indulge in a little murder daily. As if these were not enough to contend with, someone has brought a daemon to the city.

Biographie de l'auteur

Born in South Wales, currently residing in Gloucestershire, Stephen Weightman has had a varied career, mainly in accounting with departures into carpentry, TV engineer and 15 years military service. As a Gemini he is atypical in that he does not have an inability to complete one task before moving on to new things. Being quietly spoken he is not the life and soul of a party and tends to observe rather than participate. Widely travelled, he has an interest in cultures not his own and architecture especially castles. His interests are chess, computer games, reading, travel and writing though not in any order. Has been writing since the age of 13 predominately in sf and fantasy with 5 completed novels and another two nearing the culmination of the creative stage.
