Iris Gottlieb is a Durham, North Carolina-based illustrator and author of <em>Seeing Science</em> and <em>Seeing Gender</em>, as well as the illustrator of many other books authored by others. Their work aims to educate, humor, and provide accessible information through visual storytelling. Their work has appeared in <em>The New York Times</em>, <em>Smithsonian Magazine</em>, NPR, and museums around the country.
