For example, if we saw an old lady crossing the street, many of us would look at her and say, "Well, that's just an old lady," or wouldn't think anything of her at all. We take too much for granted. We let the little things that mean so much go by every day, and once they are gone, time never gives them back.

Concentrate on these things, because they can bring so much to your life. Take the time to thank your heavenly Father, make family time, husband time, wife time, children time, listening time, talking time, caring time, sharing time, crying time, peaceful time, special time, and last but not least, giving time.

Biographie de l'auteur

Ron Hester was born in 1957, the third of eight children. He has three sisters and three brothers living. A fourth, his older brother, Eddie, they lost at the age of twenty-one to an unfortunate accident. At that time, he still didn't see, because he was too involved to observe. He didn't realize how much time they didn't spend together, how many times he didn't tell him that he loved him. Hester went to E.P. Johnson Elementary School, where he had a hard time. This was during the early '60s, and if you were a person of color, you had many things going against you. Hester went on to Hoke Smith High School, where he had a very good experience once he established himself. From there he entered Morehouse College. He graduated in 1981 with a BA degree in health and PE.
