Biographie de l'auteur

Stephen "Golf Man" began golfing when he was nine, now fifty years enjoying the game. He golfed competitively into college in San Francisco, and enjoyed the summers working in Alaska, earning two BA degrees and entrance into Law School. Choosing to return to Alaska after college, he enjoyed thirty five years there working as a Union carpenter, General Contractor, furniture designer and builder, sculptor and writer. The long winters provided time for reading, writing and sculpturing golf. The summer times meant four months off work to teach, play and experience more about the game. With sociology and communication studies BAs, together with craftsman skills, artistic talent, comprehensive knowledge and perception of golf, Stephen's book, Golfwise, presents a unique perspective of the game.
