Biographie de l'auteur

Bio Stephen Baum was born in the Bronx in 1948, and (despite some very ugly rumors) lives, breathes, and rides his bicycle in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Baum has worked as a social worker and therapist all these years. Spurred on perhaps by Henry Miller, and aiming for something like Camus, he began Up in the Bronx in the late 80's and finished it about ten years later. His second novel, One Life, or The Lives of Chester, also took a decade to finish. Hoping to write a little faster in the future, Mr. Baum plods on writing and riding his bicycle as time permits. He remains a devout Clippers fan.
