Rachiel Blankenshipp was born on June 1, 1951. She is a published poet who has received several awards for her poetry including preferred poet out of 50 countries, representing the U.S. Her poem, "Guide My Feet," was for parents everywhere, and can be found at the back of this book. She is a mother of three children, two boys and a girl, a grandmother of nine grandchildren. She learned to play the piano and seven other instruments. She is a natural born artist and enjoys gardening with her two Pyrenees dogs and eight cats with her husband Joseph. They all live in a little country home in the mountains and want the peace of the quiet country life. "To create is to give life."
