After many years of wandering in a secular humanist wilderness, James Morrisson became a Christian at age 66. He quickly developed a deep love for the life-giving truth of Scripture. "Dealing with Pain and Hardship" reflects his rich and varied training and experience. It has the broad perspective of a student of history; the sharp reasoning of a lawyer; the practical, down-to-earth examples of a teacher; and the passion of a classical musician. It also reflects the love of a man who is "Dad" and "Grandpa" to many members of his church. The purpose of "Dealing with Pain and Hardship" is very practical -- to let Scripture stir people into action. Whether you are a new believer or a seasoned Christian, it will give you a solid, Scriptural foundation for being an overcomer, so that you can stand your ground in these challenging times. This is more than a discussion of important Scriptural principles. It is also a personal testimony of how the life-giving, mind-transforming power of Scripture can change our lives.
