Tangled Web is Pauline Patterson's second published novel. Born in Dayton, Ohio, in 1917, she graduated fourth in the Steele High School class of 1934 where she once met the famous aviator, Orville Wright. She currently lives in Sarasota, Florida. Her birthday is January 15. She did most of her writing when she lived in Ohio, when she had a lot of time alone in the family home in Farmersville where she lived with her husband, Russell, for 65 years. She spent her life there as a home maker, raising five children. She was also a PTA president and a Sunday School teacher. Pauline has enjoyed and shared music throughout her life. She played the mandolin on the radio with her parents when she was only eleven, and studied piano during her high school years. She served many years as church organist and later as choir director for the United Methodist Church in Farmersille, Ohio.
