Synopsis
For Ted Marasaill, freshman year at Harriman University is a clean slate. No one at the prestigious West Coast school knows about his unconventional upbringing in a small Midwestern town, about the tragedy of his past and the loneliness that haunts him. At Harriman, he will be just like everyone else, trying to balance academic and athletic responsibilities with parties, girls, and all the usual trappings of freshman life. Shaun Phillips is a native of Spring Hill, Tennessee and currently lives in Washington, D.C. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stanford University, where he was an All-American swimmer and a member of the U.S. National Swimming Team. For his first novel, he combined his athletic expertise and his passion for psychology and the science of sleep and dreams with his lifelong love of fantasy fiction. Inspired by the magical world of Stanford University and his own vivid and fantastic dreams, Dreaming is the fictional reflection of the adventures that he failed to chronicle during his time in college, but has since committed to paper…albeit with considerable artistic license.
