Dr. Hassine Saidane is an expert in Business Analytics and Data Mining, with several publications in these technical fields. Originally from Tunisia, Dr. Saidane obtained his graduate degrees at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and worked for AT&T, Lucent Technologies and NCR, and now at Wal-Mart Inc. as a senior manager-Analytics. Dr. Saidane now lives in sunny San Diego, California, with his wife, daughter and son. Well traveled around Europe, Africa and the US, Dr. Saidane's hobbies include reading and writing in the area of science and philosophy of science, spirituality, fiction, and poetry, and has published a poetry book (Patterns of body and soul connections) and co-authored with his son Zachary a short stories book (Short stories with little Zack).
