Ida Greenlee Cheeks is a native of Kosciusko, Mississippi. Her nurturing and prior education began in the Buffalo Community on the Old Ethel Road, which is now renowned as the Oprah Winfrey Road. She is a former Teacher and Retired Administrator. Her credentials include a B. S. Business Education, M. A. Business Education, M. A. Educational Administration and Supervision, plus many other certifications. Ida has affiliations with many organizations, which has been influential in her life. A few of those affililations are Phi Delta Kappa, International, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Buffalo and Faith United Methodist Churches, Christ Universal Temple and Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Her hobbies and interests include reading, writing, sewing, music, singing, walking, cooking, traveling, and art and N. A. S. A. memorabilia. Ida resides in the Beverly Woods Community of Chicago, Illinois.
