Synopsis

This is my perspective as an average American citizen who has become increasingly disillusioned with our elected officials. Extreme partisan politics created a government that is too dysfunctional to be effective. Meaningful legislation is derailed due to ideological divides. In the meantime, our once great country edges closer to irrelevance as our leaders imbibe in self-aggrandizement. This book is a clear-eyed take on some of the most pressing issues that our country is currently facing, and more importantly, some prudent, common-sense solutions to these issues. Left to politicians on the fringes, the ship of state will never be righted. It is up to us, the citizen statesmen who reside in the middle of this country, to put forth ideas such as those in Red White & Blueprint for America and demand that our elected representatives follow through with ideas like those presented. We must restore the United States of America to its rightful position as the greatest nation in the world. God bless America!

À propos de l'auteur

Over the course of his lifetime, Dave Sellar has worked in many different fields with many different positions of responsibility. Those areas of employment began as a child delivering multiple newspaper routes with his older brothers to computer programming in multiple languages, designing untold numbers of business systems, and developing associated databases to support them. These employment opportunities have provided Dave with a plethora of knowledge across multiple business disciplines. Dave is a life long resident of New York State. He calls Long Island his home and has lived in several communities in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties. He is very happily married to his wonderful wife Denise. Together they have three children of whom they are extremely proud. Living in such close proximity to the ocean, Dave has learned to sail and is an avid participant when time avails. He has followed in the footsteps of his father and, despite reality, is an optimistic die hard New York Islander hockey fan. His interest in politics began during the Nixon administration and has rapidly grown over the years, especially after 9-11. While he has never run for elected office, his temptation to do so is growing. Can you say President?
