Synopsis

This collection includes 226 poetic flash fiction pieces written in 2010. Poetic flash fiction is a genre I named to suit my work written in poetic form, but to me they seem to be flash fiction. Genres are formed by conventions that change over time as new genres are invented. Some writing fits into more than one by borrowing and recombining existing genres.

À propos de l'auteur

I began writing in 2006 and graduated a creative writing program in 2009. I discovered the power of the written word. We all have it, few use it. Anger used to be a daily part of my life until I began to write. Now if something upsets me, I write about it. I find that I now have a voice because I learned how to use words. I have had my opinions published online, and in newspapers because of this new found power. I compiled these pieces in a genre I call poetic flash fictions, and have included 226 in this collection, most written in the past year. I have published numerous short stories and poems online, and have published "A Penis Manologue" on Create Space in 2009. My novel "A Paranormal Affair" and my memoir. Both are both making the rounds of publishers. I began writing in 2006 and discovered the power of the written word. We all have it, few use it. Anger used to be a daily part of my life until I began to write. Now if something upsets me, I write about it. I find that I now have a voice because I learned how to use words. I have had my opinions published online, and in newspapers because of this new found power. This is my first compilation of poetic flash fiction.
