A Historical Novel based on actual events. Shortly before World War II, a young Sephardic Rabbi returned to Berlin, having studied in Spain. He was forced into hiding and narrowly escaped. A steamer landed him in on a Caribbean island that German submarines used for re-supply. There, he began a new life helped by the small Jewish community. He did not know he would become a force that helped bring Hitler to his knees, all because of Teresita--a girl with cinnamon skin. As he began to take over the German government, Hitler suffered a personal tragedy that made him an emotional cripple. He was never the same. A German doctor on the island gave Hitler's physician hope that he could be cured using a local remedy that Hitler had enthusiastically approved and a small SS force was dispatched, disguised as part of the re-supply treaty negotiation. On the island, Teresita, whose family had been destroyed by the local dictator, learned of the German plan and sought revenge. The Americans would want her information. She joined expatriate Britons and Jews, the Rabbi and a local priest as they sought help from the U.S. Ambassador. This is the fast paced story of how her small group carried out their plan and suffered its consequences. A part of Germany's future and its war now depended on a most unlikely group of amateur heroes.
