Synopsis

This book is written for the common layman to understand concepts in Revelation that are often made needlessly complex and confusing. Evidence is clearly presented to show that the Armageddon of Revelation occurred when Rome fell; however, many powers have collapsed over the past 2,000 years as each has faced its own "Armageddon." Many fear, and for good reason, that the United States of America is in danger of undergoing its "Armageddon." What should Christians do when their nation's morality continues to sink into oblivion? America continues to decline morally each year with increasing crime, drug addiction, and alcoholism, along with filth over television and the internet. Families are breaking apart and are absolutely at risk in this nation! Dishonesty among major company CEO's has hit the headlines all too often, and corruption and immorality have run rampant among political leaders of the nation. Revelation is not a book to fear; it is a book about victory for those who follow Jesus Christ in overcoming the ways of the world. COMMENTS: I first met Eli in January of 1999. Y2K was all a buzz and we were searching for a way not only to serve but also to encourage the community. Eli was invited to speak and skillfully eased any worries of the new millennium with a week of evening presentations to a packed auditorium. The week revitalized us and presented the congregation in a new light in our community. Now, every time I hear of the next impending doom I remember Eli, The Death of the Beast, and smile. Gary Weaks, Silverton, Texas I have read Daniel and Revelation a few times and have heard sermons on both, and your book makes more sense than all of them put together. As a history nut I particularly liked the way you back your theses up with known historical facts. The book is excellent. Helen Lynch, EdD, Retired College Professor in Arkansas Death of the Beast does an excellent job explaining the relationship between Daniel and the book of Revelation. It is very easy to read and understand and contains numerous references helpful for further study. A thorough study of this book will give an individual a good command of the Old Testament prophet Daniel and the New Testament prophet John. Chuck Swift, Lifelong Bible student and home Bible study leader "Death of the Beast" is the best resource material available to aid in the study of the book of Revelation. Clyde D. Sales, Evangelist - Columbus, Ohio
