Carlo Santoro was born and educated in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. His business interests range from the retail industry, property market and the endless opportunities on the World Wide Web, to the commercial, political and aviation arenas. Recognising a gap in the market some years back, Carlo facilitated the start-up of a successful company developing and managing operations and IT infrastructure for retailers – RetailCare. He maintains his role there today as Managing Director. With more than fifteen years’ experience in retail workings, Santoro spends the bulk of his time as an accomplished consultant and mentor to the retail industry. He also owns and has developed over 300 websites - many with on-line stores - and is constantly adding to this portfolio. Carlo holds an MEI (Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation) from Swinburne University and is recognised as one of the leading business networkers in Melbourne. Although his main focus lies with RetailCare, Carlo’s extensive worldwide networks and expertise at business-to-business relationship building ensure that his business activities, like his enthusiasm for new ventures, remain dynamic. Carlo places great importance on sharing knowledge and volunteering. He has held a prestigious leadership position for over 9 years with the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO) – an international non-profit organisation enabling groups of entrepreneurial business peers to meet and interact globally, growing and learning from each other along the way. Outside of business Carlo is a dedicated father, living in Melbourne with his wife and two young children. He successfully juggles time with his many entrepreneurial ventures and time with his family.
