Biographie de l'auteur

T.R.Dutton, CEng, MIMechE, MRAeS, is a professional aerospace engineer. He retired, early, from the Future Projects Department of BAe PLC, Airlines Division, when the company became part of BAE Systems, PLC. He then began bringing together all the elements of a 24-years' spare-time investigation of global UFO reports. By then, he had discovered that the global activities of reported strange aerial craft (UFOs) had been programmed. They could be regarded as the predictable activities of advanced off-planet aerospace probes. This book tells how his studies began and developed throughout the years, up to the present time, and how the major breakthroughs occurred. Throughout his life the author has been known to close associates by his second name, Roy. During school days, he developed a wide range of interests, ranging from music, arts and crafts, through cosmology to philosophy and religion. He was forever seeking new knowledge and a better understanding of life's mysteries. However, WWII greatly influenced the formative part of his childhood. His boyhood hero became R.J.Mitchell, the aircraft designer responsible for that elegant fighter aircraft, the Spitfire. That combination of artistic expression and practical engineering had an irresistible appeal to the youthful Roy. He developed an intense desire to get into the aircraft industry as soon as possible. After leaving grammar school, aged 18, he was accepted for a full five-year professional aeronautical engineer apprenticeship by the famous Avro Company, based in Manchester, UK. What happened after completion of that apprenticeship is told in the first chapter of this book. Strangely, throughout his time in the aerospace industry, Roy came to be regarded as an engineering analyst (rather than a designer) and it was his versatility that allowed him to be retained, in different roles, despite several major rationalisations within Avro's historic and scenic Woodford Airfield establishment.
