Biographie de l'auteur

Eric Hughes was born and raised in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, the youngest son of immigrants from the tiny Caribbean island of Anguilla. After graduating from high school, he served in the U.S. Air Force, where he was trained in the fields of teletype and cryptography. Later, he moved to Washington, D.C. where he had a distinguished 35-year career with the U.S. Government, earning numerous awards and commendations for his outstanding performance. He is the author of The Content of Their Character, and, The Third Burden: My True Story of Defeating Discrimination in the Workplace. He has been honored by the NAACP, Jet Magazine, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and the Maryland Department of the Environment for his stand against injustice in the workplace and for his books. Mr. Hughes also has made guest appearances on several local and national radio talk shows, including, WOL in Washington, D.C. Eric Hughes holds a B.S. degree, Community Planning and Development, from the University of the District of Columbia, and a Master of Public Administration degree from American University.
