James "Doc" McLean, Sr was born oldest of 6 on 03/20/1955 in Laurinburg, NC. James currently resides in Matthews, NC. James has a wealth of hobbies but will attest to golfing and fishing being his favorites. James’s career as a Information Technology trainer has afforded him the opportunity to travel all over the world, and he finds that the same thing holds true where ever he travels and that is misconceptions about Love. James has always had a passion for listening attentively and counseling the ladies when it came to the subject of Love and relationships. This passion has been evident and well received by all who come in contact with him. James recalls sitting on the porch with his grandmother over 15 years ago and listening attentively to the wise advice that she gave to him daily. This particular day, she shared with James that she knew he was gifted in the area of communication. She shared with him her premonition of him speaking to a large audience. She had no idea what it leads to but we are here to witness it come to fruition. This shared information from the love of his life stuck with him and has been a motivating force in his preparation. When asked what led him to write this book," Article of Love", he humbly speaks behind his plastered smile, "I want to help you, the ladies. There is so much confusion about this four-letter word love; but only because we don´t understand. It is very important to seek to understand and then be understood. I consider myself to be smart, humorous, confident and passionate. My friends unanimous add to the list that I am full of wise counsel and genuine advice. After much thought and meditation, I decided to share with the world the counsel stored inside of me.
