I was born in West Virginia the youngest daughter of ten children, five boys and five girls. I was blessed with a very loving mother and father. My mother was a school teacher until she started her family. She taught us to believe in our own ability to accomplish any goal and to follow our dreams. I owe so much to her guidance and belief in my ability. I attended Penn State University when I lived in Pennsylvania and continued my education through the years. I have lived in Kentucky, Ohio and South Carolina. My South Carolina home is where my heart is and will forever be my favorite place. I am married to a wonderful man that has the ability to make me laugh each and every day. He has encouraged me and always been by my side through the loss of my parents and five siblings. I do not have children of my own but was blessed with wonderful nieces and nephews that have filled by life with unconditional love. I have one step-son and two grandsons.
