The author Frank Richetti, a native Italian American, was born December 28, 1950 in South Philadelphia on Randolf street within a mixed cultured neighborhood of Irish, Italian and African Americans. His education included 3 grammar schools, Washington, Nebinger and Kirkbride. Two Junior high schools, Bartlett and Furness Junior High, and two colleges, Northeast Bible Institute (Bible College) and Valley Forge Christian College. This contributed to his many faceted perception of the cultural , ethical and religious differences amongst his peers. His studies included all courses and a three year extensive theological, ministerial and Christian education programs. Although he had written much long before this book, composing songs, poetry and creating characters, he continued charity work among various Christian ministries and churches . He has written numerous songs and stories one in particular titled "The Cabin" a story of intense fear in the woods of an old abandoned Outpost which was used for summer camp grounds and youth retreats. Frank is still writing romantic love songs and poems. Some are found in this book. His songs and poems have great meaning and will prove to be an effective healing ointment for the broken hearted. As you read this book you will fi nd yourself, your emotion, your sense of humor, your circumstance and the hope you need to fall in love again.
If you ever experienced heartache over a lost love, if you're certain that love will find a way o your heart if you are open to it, if you've maintained a sense of humor through it all, then this is a book you would enjoy reading. Frank Richetti's journey through a morass of dating sites, less than scrupulous women and, then, finally, meeting his true love, who he married, will bring the reader into his worl and you will certainly recognize yourself at some point, and say, yes, that happened to me.
