He pays homage to his father, who came to America in the early twentieth century, became famous as the Bean King in Central California, and survived the Great Depression while raising three sons. JACK ANGEL grew up in Berkeley, California; attended San Francisco State University; and went on to become one of the country's most popular disc jockeys and continues working as ones of Hollywood's leading animation performers. He is also the author of How to Succeed in Voice Overs without Ever Losing. He lives with his wife, talent agent Arlene Th ornton in Studio City, and Malibu California.
