Phillip D. Rumrill, PhD, CRC, is a Professor of Rehabilitation Counseling and Director of the Center for Disability Studies at Kent State University in Ohio. He has authored or co-authored more than 130 professional journal articles, 40 book chapters, and 6 books on related topics. He is also a frequent presenter at national and international conferences in health care, rehabilitation, and education. Mary L. Hennessey, PhD, CRC, is an Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She has authored or co-authored more than 30 articles and 3 books, most on employment and career development of people with chronic illnesses. Steven W. Nissen, MS, CRC, is Director of Employment Programs at the National Capital Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Washington, DC, and Director of Operation Job Match, the employment assistance and support program of the chapter.
