John recorded these biographical anecdotes and reflections in his final years, while looking back over his experiences. He shares his wisdom and immense knowledge, earned over ninety-eight full years, in the hope that his experiences and reflections may inspire us in the future.

John E. Burgener was a physicist, entrepreneur, writer, photographer, painter, and world traveler. He was a professional member of the Canadian Association of Physicists and the Chemical Institute of Canada. He was a co-founder of the Canadian Spectroscopy Society and co-founder of the Canadian Testing Association. John lived in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
