Larry Weldon Jr. was born in San Francisco, California. He later moved to San Jose, California at the age of eleven and found comfort in sports. He received a football scholarship to San Jose State University in the early eighties and then later, earned his degree in Economics. At San Jose State University he lettered four years in Football and Track and Field. In college, he met so many wonderful people that influenced him in a positive way and kept him on the right path. He married his first girlfriend and she is still putting up with his mess after twenty five years, two kids in college and his new found passion. He has been working in the wholesale industry for over twenty four years and has been an avid reader of fiction ever since he picked up Terri McMillan's novel "Mama" in the late eighties. Over the years of parenthood, bills, bills and more bills, he sought refuge in all kinds of novels. He would pretty much read a couple of books a week for the past twenty plus years from numerous authors. One of his best friends that knew him better than anyone suggested to him that he should become a writer. Whoomp! There it is!
