Biographie de l'auteur

Wendy Swope is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with 10 years combined experience in Critical Care, Psychiatry and Family Practice. She is certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the state of Idaho and has primarily practiced in the acute hospital setting. In 2002 Swope published Wild Idaho through Falcon Press which is an outdoor guide to all of the wild areas in the state. In 2006 she co-authored a chapter of Neurological Support in ACCCN Critical Care Nursing by Elsevier. This book is currently in it's second printing. Swope currently lives in Swan Valley, Idaho where she enjoys hiking and cross-country skiing. Having lived for a winter in a tipi in the forest outside of Pinedale, Wyoming (-40 below) she and her husband also know quite a lot of practical knowledge related to the outdoors. They have five children and enjoy many adventures with them.
