A licensed clinical psychologist, he maintains a psychotherapy practice, is active in research, and teaches psychotherapy to psychiatry residents and clinical psychology graduate students. Dr. Eells has published several papers on psychotherapy case formulation and has conducted workshops on the topic for professionals. He is on the editorial boards of multiple psychotherapy journals.
