Dean Gibson was raised on a hay farm, spent his early summers as an oceanfront lifeguard, and attended Duke University, where he obtained a degree in Political Science. He went on to Duke Law School, and then practiced trial law for almost twenty years. He decided to attend Reformed Theological Seminary, where he obtained a Masters Degree in Biblical Studies in 2009. He is an avid woodworker, and you can usually fi nd him in his shop or at the word processor, writing sermons to help carry the load in the Anglican home church he and his wife are attending. He is sixty-two years old, is the father of six children, and he and his beloved Susie are blessed with eight grandchildren.
